As a family that traveled on a limited basis and then tried to pinch pennies when it came to motels, staying at Bluegreen facilities is a welcome change. With two or three rooms, we can spread out and enjoy different activities while at the resorts. That's especially great when you have a vacation late sleeper and a vacation early riser. All the resorts we've stayed at (Falls Village, Christmas Mountain, and Laurel Crest) were well maintained and the staff has been hospitable and helpful. We also like the fact that we're off the main thoroughfare, so it's quiet, but still close enough to make it to shows and amusement parks without being stranded in long lines of traffic. We're so happy with what we've done so far that we just added to our previous point total so we can travel even more.

We especially enjoyed our stay at Laurel Crest in Gatlinburg. The informational meeting about what to see in the area was very helpful. We even won two tickets to a country western show. We had a two-bedroom condo with two baths and a sofa sleeper. We have two children and even invited my mother-in-law along for the week and she had her own bedroom and bath. While the boys and my husband went golfing, she and I went shopping in downtown Gatlinburg and the craft trails up through the mountains. We had some fantastic finds. We have friends we went to college with and we introduced them to Bluegreen Vacation Club. They are also owners and we plan our summer vacations together and go to the same resort. We have enjoyed doing this for three years now, and this summer we will be going to The Suites at Hershey, PA, one of Bluegreen's newest resorts. Even my 17 year old is excited about touring the Hershey candy factory. We all know, everyone at any age loves chocolate.

Bluegreen Vacation Club has made my family vacations true memories. My 5-year-old stepson loves to travel with his dad and me. He can't wait until school is out to go on our family vacation. The activities provided keep him occupied from the time he wakes up until we carry him to bed at night. The people that work at these resorts are excellent! My husband and I purchased our Bluegreen vacation package on the first day of our vacation for our first year anniversary three years ago. We are very young and travel incessantly. The greatest thing about Bluegreen is everywhere you go you feel that you belong to a family of vacationers. The staff at every Bluegreen hotel becomes your friend and confidant and the fellow Bluegreen owners welcome you into their vacation experience.
Since our purchase at Charleston's Lodge Alley Inn, we have been back to Charleston, spent New Year's in Gatlinburg, spent our second anniversary in Ormond Beach, and will spend this Christmas in Orlando. It is a dream come true for us to be able to call one phone number, speak to a helpful representative, and not have to worry about anything but what clothes to pack. Our vacations are hassle free and are always better than we expected.
Because our families have always been tight on money, we can share our good fortune with everyone by bringing them along on our vacations. It is the greatest thing to be able to give those who have supported us a well-deserved vacation.
On top of the present benefits is the fact that this will be ours forever. We do not have kids yet, but we know that our memories from year to year will be ones to cherish at new and interesting Bluegreen resorts and the old favorites. When we grow old and have seen the world we can pass the legacy on.

About ten years ago we visited Christmas Mountain Village, which is about a two-hour drive from our home, and made the decision to become Bluegreen owners, even though at the time it was a financial stretch and our children were mere babies at the time. The ownership purchase has been a wonderful investment! Our family makes the trip up to the Dells about twice a year on Bonus Time to hike Devils Lake State Park, pick up apples at Sky High Orchard, and wine from nearby Wollershiem Vineyards. Countless friends have visited and pot-lucked with us in the various cabin sites we have enjoyed at Christmas Mountain and we have plenty of pictures to prove it. As proud parents we have watched our children grow up taking part in the recreation activities (swimming, hiking, tennis, berry picking and hopefully this year they will finally learn to ski) at Christmas Mountain. This past year, we were able to purchase more Bluegreen points so we can upgrade to larger accommodations now that the kids want to take friends with us on vacation. We are hopeful a future trip to Orlando, or maybe Aruba, will be our next Bluegreen destination.

My family and I have always enjoyed our trips within the Bluegreen system. One special trip was when the whole family stayed at MountainLoft in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. My brother was terminally ill and wanted a few days with the whole family together. We decided on Gatlinburg, and 25 of us gathered to spend a few days with him. We laughed and talked and enjoyed the beautiful scenery around us. Two months later my brother passed away, but he spent those two months re-living every moment of our family trip. It has been a year since my brother passed away, and my family still has fun recalling the wonderful experience we had at Gatlinburg. The accommodations were perfect for the whole family to enjoy the time together.

Bluegreen Vacation Club has been the best experience we have ever had going on vacation. My husband and I never really took the time to take a vacation, but after we bought into this program 12 years ago, we are so pleased that we did this for our family! We can go anywhere we want and stay when we want. We have been to Florida several times, Arizona three times, Branson twice and when we need a quick get away, we go for three to four days to Wisconsin Dells like we will soon. You would not be sorry if this is something you get for your family! You can pass this down even to your children and grandchildren.

We knew that we were moving to Branson, MO, so it made it easy to purchase at Falls Village. Unlike many owners, we enjoy the resort nearly everyday. We enjoy the indoor pool, where my kids play while I watch them from the fitness room. We meet friends for coffee in the lounge and just go relax there. We know the guys behind the desk on a first name basis, who are so very friendly and even shared birthday cake with Josh! I have looked at other resorts online for a future exchange and just haven't seen anything even comparable!

Before we became Bluegreen members, we never really knew what vacations were. We thought you always had to stay in a hotel or with family and friends. The last few years, our vacations have been the best ever and our children have been on vacations like we never had while growing up. We have family in Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin, so Christmas Mountain Village in Wisconsin Dells made the perfect meeting place for our family Thanksgiving get-together. We were able to book three adjacent cottages to house all our children and grandchildren and also my sister-in-law and her family. The cottages were roomy, comfortable and nicely furnished. The dining room/kitchen area was large enough so we could set up tables for 20 people to have dinner. It made for a very memorable family time and we are already being asked if we can do it again sometime, maybe when more of the attractions are available in the area. We look forward to our next Bluegreen vacation!

The [Bluegreen] Wilderness Club has been a blessing for all three generations of our family, from the teens to the grandparents. We've enjoyed it for romantic escapes for the two of us, for fast-paced times with the kids, and we loved it for big family reunions. It is wonderful to enjoy the resort during all four seasons. Top notch is how we would rate it, which is why we have upgraded twice, first to silver then to gold. We are sure pleased with our decisions.
